25-Hour Herb Course for Health Professionals

This 25 HOUR HERB COURSE provides nutritionists, dietitians, and other allied health professionals with a solid foundational knowledge of herbal medicine.  The course will focus on herbs most likely to benefit nutrition-related disorders such as Type II diabetes, detoxification, high blood pressure, allergies, digestive ailments and more.  Several methods for safely recommending herbal medicine will be discussed, including incorporating herbs into a healthy diet, herbal teas, tinctures and supplements.

The in-person day-long intensive will include an herb walk, herbal food preparation, herbal medicine making and product evaluation.  All who attend the in-person intensive will go home with harvested herbs, a tincture and a salve.

All participants will receive an HERBAL STARTER KIT with samples of “15 Herbs to Know.”

Date and Location:  The course consists of a Saturday intensive and 8 Webinars.

Saturday Live Intensive  May 6th 20179 am – 6 pm (with lunch break).  The weekend intensive includes medicine making, food tasting, herb walk and herbal supplement education.  The weekend intensive will take place at Rebecca’s Home Office in Catonsville MD.  Directions will be distributed upon registration.

8 Webinars   Tuesday nights 630 pm – 9 pm, between January 17th and June 6th

Webinar dates: January 17th, February 7th, February 28th, March 21st, April 4th, April 25th, May 16th, June 6th

All webinars will be recorded for program participants.
